Cadeaux Spa are a new start up business within the hair, beauty and wellness sector co-founded by best friends Alison & Emma. Situated within the picturesque surroundings of Branston Golf and Country Club in Burton-Upon-Trent, they deliver a wide range of treatments from Women’s hair styling, Men’s barbering, nail treatments (luxury manicures, pedicures, gel nails, extensions), waxing/hair removal, brow tinting & waxing, eyelashes, infills), spray tans, massage (back, leg, full body) and Derma facials.
The company came to me for a full brand identity design - an entire new look, complete with a logo and marketing collateral.
Process
The client made a few requests from the start of how they visualised the brand looking. They wanted to convey a stylish feel in someway through the colours and choice of typography.
The name ‘Cadeaux’ also translates to ‘gifts’ in French so I wanted this to reflect through the identity - as a place where customers come to feel tranquil and relaxation.
With these few pointers I went away and started exploring possible colour palette options and lettering styles. From this initial exploration I came to the decision to move forward with a complimentary two colour scheme of sage green and cream beige (barely beige). The two pastel shades particularly helped to accentuate the idea of nature - green reflecting leaves, trees, plants combined with the soft earthy tones of beige. I also started to gather typefaces that would work for the logo type itself.
These options were then presented to the client, where then selected a logo type for the identity to built upon.
Outcome
Through an extensive development stage a brand new identity emerged for the client. A modern brand that competes with the ever growing beauty market.
